Metta Visionary Design exists to honor the relationship between imagination, spiritual insight, and the disciplines required to translate visionary ideas into tangible form. The studio approaches design as a form of transmission—where energy, intention, and material converge to create works that hold presence, meaning, and quiet power.

Rooted in the principle of Metta—loving-kindness—each piece is conceived with reverence for both the seen and unseen, guided by the belief that what we surround ourselves with shapes how we feel, live, and evolve.

Every design is released as 5 limited edition pieces, then permanently archived upon completion. This practice honors the integrity of each work and preserves its rarity, ensuring that every piece exists as a singular moment in the studio’s creative lineage.

Metta Visionary Design creates not for mass production, but for thoughtful placement—where art, form, and spirit may quietly transform space into sanctuary.

Lali Metta

Hello, and welcome. I’m Lali Metta—founder and visionary designer of Metta Visionary Design. Thank you for your curiosity and for taking a moment to learn more about the spirit behind my work.

I was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and over time life carried me through a series of migrations that eventually brought me to Florida, where I deepened my creative path and personal evolution. My journey into furniture design led me to partner with Armored Frog, a studio known for crafting exceptional high-caliber pieces. That chapter refined my skills through hands-on project management and close collaboration with artisans and designers—and ultimately gave me the courage to build Metta Visionary Design.

Alongside my work, I’ve been devoted to a spiritual path through prayer, meditation, yoga, and global traditions. This inner journey shapes the intention behind everything I create—because I believe design is not only visual, but energetic.

Soraya Martini

Hello, I’m Soraya, co-owner and COO of Metta Visionary Design, supporting the brand with structure, strategy, and thoughtful execution.

My professional journey spans more than two decades across corporate leadership, branding, and creative strategy—experience that taught me how to create harmony between creativity, human connection, and intentional execution. But the foundation of who I am began long before my career.

I was born in Oakland, California to immigrant parents who instilled in me resilience and an unwavering work ethic. They bought a failing liquor store in San Francisco and, through grit and determination, transformed it into a profitable business. I grew up working alongside them, learning early that discipline, responsibility, and heart matter.

I later earned my BBA in Business Management from UNM, and just before graduation I was recruited by Philip Morris, relocated to Dallas, and completed my MBA in Finance.

A defining chapter of my life came years later, when I became a Stage 3 breast cancer survivor. That experience transformed me. It clarified my purpose and deepened my belief that beauty carries energy—that what we surround ourselves with can heal, strengthen, and uplift.
