Designing personal collections is a practice of passion and precision—an intimate exploration of form, material, and intention. Each piece begins as a quiet spark of inspiration, unfolding through hand-sketched studies that capture the essence of the idea. These sketches evolve into detailed architectural drawings, refining the vision with care and clarity.

Through thoughtful collaboration with specialized fabrication partners, each design is then brought into physical form, where artistry and function meet in balance. This three-piece sculpture reflects the studio’s creative process and stands as a living example of how a vision moves from concept to completion—translated into tangible form with integrity and reverence.

This drawing is from Lali's sketchbook, she then takes the sketch to the computer and creates architectural drawings for fabrication.

For this special project we collaborated with Lift Arc Studios based in Roanoke, Virginia, and led by Tay Whiteside. Tay and his team were phenomenal to work with through the entire design process and his inputs made it all come together. No pun intended!
